Staff Interview - Christine Gill

Staff Interview - Christine Gill Year 3 teacher
How long have you worked at BNPS?
This is my seventh year at BNPS. How time flies.
What inspired you to be a teacher?
Working with my own children when they were young first sparked my interest in education.
If you weren't a teacher, what career would have you pursued?
I would have loved to be a zoologist, working with animals. I did an ecology degree at university in London.
What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?
I’m a homebody, I love spending time with my family relaxing at home.
If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?
I have a long travel list! I’d love to go to Japan and Canada. I’m not going away these holidays sadly, but I’ll enjoy them either way. 😊
What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?
I met David Attenborough about 25 years ago at a special lecture I was lucky enough to attend. He is such an inspirational person.
What recently made you smile?
3B of course-they are an amazing group of young people.
What would you like to say to your class?
I am very proud of all of your efforts this term, keep being your awesome self.
