District Champions for Winter Interschool sport 

Congratulations to our Girls and Mixed netball teams who both earned the crown of District champions for term 2 Winter sport winning all their games each week. We look forward to seeing them play in the Division championships early in term 3 to continue their winning streaks. Well done to all those players.

The girls’ softball team have also made it through to the next level after winning all their games. They will play off in term 4 at the division championships. Congratulations girls.

World Cup Soccer Fun for year 5 and 6 students.

Our year 5 and 6 students experienced a FUN World Cup soccer incursion as our last rotation in Interschool Sport time. The students had a great time kicking at big inflatable targets, running through the agility challenge, trying to catch and save a goal and playing with large inflatable soccer balls. 

The students were in 4 groups and were all representing a world cup soccer country and competing for their own World Cup! The teachers joined in to, and we all had a great time with lots of laughter and competition.

Year 6 girls were selected to play AFL 9s as part of our Interschool sport program and are playing today. Good luck.

Congratulations Xander

Congratulations to our year 4C student Xander who competed in the regional cross-country event in Hastings on Wednesday 17th June. Entered in the multi class 10yr old division Xander ran a relaxed and fast paced race to finish in FIRST place in his event. He will now go on to compete at the Yarra Glen Racecourse early in term 3 in the STATE championships. The BNPS community wish you the best of luck on the day Xander, and you will need to run FAST!!.
