Netball
St Edward’s Netball Registrations are now OPEN.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE TOMORROW FRIDAY 8th MARCH, 2024

All new netball uniforms can be found on the Compass app in the Canteen menu.
There are a small number of second hand uniforms available from the Primary Canteen for $20.
Training is decided by coaches. All training is at St Edward’s Primary School straight after school, Infants’ children can catch the bus.
Games will start in early May.
All games are played inside, or on the outside courts at the Tamworth Sports Dome.
Games for children aged 10 and under are usually played at 12pm.*
Games for children aged 11 and over are usually at 1pm.*

Dio Swimming
Our St Edward's students had an amazing experience at the Dio Swimming Carnival in Gunnedah last Friday with Mrs Marshall. Thank you for your sportsmanship and St Edward's Spirit.
Winter Trials
Winter and Summer Trials are a pathway opportunity for Year 6 students and very capable Year 5 students. Schools are invited by the the Catholic Schools Office to send students of a proficient skill level to these trials. We don't send teams to trials, rather individual players with proficient skills and ability.
On Wednesday 6th March, Sienna Erich, Ashton Jeffrey, Ellie Palmer, Nathan Rex, Millie Trappel and Ruby Webster participated in the Diocesan Winter Trials for Hockey. Congratulations to Ashton Jeffrey and Nathan Rex for making it in the Diocesan side.
Tomorrow, Friday 8th March, we will have a number of students participating in the Netball, Soccer and Rugby League Trials. We wish these students all the best and good luck.
Netball: Natalia Allan-Saunders, Mia Coombes, Rhimyah Jenner, Emmerson McMahon, Emily O'Connell and Kiarnee Smith.
Football/Soccer: Noah Brown, Kaleb Ethridge, Jacob Garnett, Saxon Rankmore and Ella Wrigley.

11Years: Elijah Hadfield, Noah Swan, Brody Robertson, Brooks McCulloch, Isaac Heywood and Harley Henry.

Please keep a lookout for these in your cupboards, school bags, dirty clothes baskets, even under beds. We are still missing a considerable amount of shirts which will be required to be handed back in this term.
Netball and Basketball Uniforms
You are able to order both the St Edward's Netball and St Edward's Basketball uniform by using the Compass app.
HOW TO ORDER:
1.Click on the Compass app
2. Select more (bottom right corner)
3. Select canteen
4. Select child
5. Select day (tomorrow's date)
6. Select uniform menu
Simply select size and the uniform will be handed to your child at school the day selected. Please keep all tags on until you are happy with the size after trying on to allow a simple exchange at the primary canteen.
If your child is in Year 6 and does not have a sibling to hand their netball/basketball uniform to, could you consider donating or selling your uniform through the school? We are always looking for second hand uniforms for our new families and new students to the sport. Please see Mrs Bridge in the Canteen for more information around this.
