Casual Relief Teachers & Potential Short-Term Contracts 

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking applicants for Casual Relief Teachers to cover Secondary School. Casual Relief Teachers are generally engaged at short notice, usually for a half-day or full day, and occasionally several days at a time. New graduates and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

 

There is also the potential of requiring short-term contracts in Maths, English, Humanities and Learning Intervention throughout the year. We would love to hear from dedicated teachers interested in these roles also.

Contemporary/Jazz Piano Teacher

Mount Evelyn Christian School (MECS) is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and skilled piano teacher commencing Term 1, 2024. This is a fixed contract until the end of the 2024 school year and could suit a new graduate or an experienced teacher.

 

The applicant should be suitably qualified, have previous experience in a similar role and teach in a way that keeps students motivated and well organised. They must be able to teach piano in the genre of contemporary music, along with notation, theory and improvisation. Most students will be secondary.
