Leap of Faith

As I staggered confidently towards the tower, sweat dripped from my forehead. I clambered nervously up the pole, panic written all over my face.  My trembling arm finally grabbed hold of the platform. I could feel my legs go weak.  I clutched the pole like a baby and could feel tears welling up.  With a strangled scream, I leapt off the tower, falling into oblivion.  -- Ben 6A

Giant Swing

As I finally reached the top, adrenalin was flowing through my veins. I took a deep, calming breath, even though all I could feel was excitement. One moment was all I needed for observing, before I told them to drop me. I let out an internal squeal. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. The wind brushed my hair back, touching a cool chill to my face.  I sliced through the air, a giant swing indeed. The people below were ants. My heart leapt for the first few swings to the side and back, but neither here nor there. -- Aditi 6A

Low Ropes

My body shook in excitement just waiting in turn for the long low ropes course.  My body filled with adrenalin as I saw the start of the course. It began with big log stumps from cut down trees and there were so many challenges. The end was a big area of nets made from hard string, so strong it could hold thousands of people.  3...2...1!I raced across the course, it was better than I could have imagined. -- Yohan 6A
