Spotlight on Learning in Year 1

The Grade Ones are studying History this term. 

This week we were lucky enough to have Marilyn Koolstra come back to Valkstone to speak to the children about the history of the school from when she started as a student when the school opened to when she finished as Principal in 2022. 

The children had many, many questions to ask and were fascinated by how things have changed over the years. They especially loved the photos she showed us. Thank you for visiting us, Mrs Koolstra!
