District Swimming

The Altona District Swim Carnival was held on Thursday the 15th February. The students participating gave it their all which resulted in everyone having fun and plenty of 1st, 2nd, 3rd ribbons. 

We have 10 students who will be progressing in one or more of their events and will be competing in the Hobsons Bay Division event on the 6th of March at Werribee Outdoor Pool. 

Freya won the 1st place medal in the 100m Altona District Champion Race and also qualified for multiple individual strokes plus the freestyle relay and medley relay. 

We also had Erika, Charlotte, Aoife and Chelsea win in 50 meter relay or medley events. Erika and Charlotte also qualified in an individual 50 meter stroke.

Ojus, Harry, Immanuel and Finlay won the 50 meter freestyle relay. Harry qualified for 50 freestyle and 50 meter breaststroke. Immanuel qualified for 50m breaststroke and 50 butterfly. Lucas qualified for 50 meter breaststroke and freestyle and Fabian qualified for 50 backstroke.
