Student Voice

This week the Level One and Two students have been going to their swimming lessons at Aqualink each day. These kids are going to tell you a bit about their experiences: 

I like going into the water and swimming from one side to the other. Liana S 1G

I like my teacher because she taught me how to swim like a whale. Luke M 1G

My teacher taught me how to balance in the water. Miya W 1G

I feel confident and relaxed during my swimming lesson. My teacher Dave makes me feel brave in the water. Now I can do penguin feet. I love swimming.  Zara 2S

My swimming teacher taught me how to blow bubbles in the water. When I blew bubbles I could see the bubbles. I could hear the bubble noise and they tickled my nose.  Kai 2S

My swimming teacher taught me how to do a handstand in the water and a flip but it was hard. I can't wait to learn how to float on my back.  Ayla 2S

The best part of swimming is I can dive to the bottom of the pool. I can't wait to be a strong swimmer. I love swimming because it is so much fun.  Avina 2S

 The best part of swimming is floating on the water. I like my swimming group because it is fun and full of friends. My swimming teacher has taught me how to use the floating toys to help me. I can’t wait to play in the pool on Friday! Siqi  1M

The best part of swimming is the nice warm water. I like my swimming group because both of my friends are in it. My swimming teacher has taught me how to move my arms in the water. I can’t wait to go on the water slide. Tom 1M

What I like best about swimming is to be a seahorse in the water. I am in the rainbow fish group and it is fun! My teacher has taught me how to do freestyle in the water. I can’t wait to play in the water! Terrence 1L

I like doing the superhero pose in the water. I like swimming with my group the best! My teacher has taught me how to hop like a bunny in the water. I am still looking forward to being a superhero at the pool! Yusra 1L
