Performing Arts

The Performing Arts Program in semester one offers our students across all year levels inspiring, enriching and engaging opportunities to express themselves creatively in drama and music.

All students from Prep to Grade 6 participate in weekly drama sessions in the Performing Arts Room or The Hive.  Both rooms provide a flexible workspace for students to work comfortably in groups and whole class activities. 

The Performing Arts sessions from Prep to Grade 4 are conducted in Italian and English. 

In term 1 our element in Performing Arts is drama.  All students are using scripts to learn and create a performance focusing on their voice, facial expressions, dialogue, movement, and space to improvise characters and situations. 

All Prep to Grade 6 students are encouraged to perform as often as possible in front of the class to build their confidence and a feeling of achievement and success.
