House Swimming Sports
The Ballarat High School House Swimming Sports were held at Eureka Pool in gloriously sunny conditions. Brawn (blue), Baird (green), Lawson (red) and Greenfield (yellow) Houses competed fiercely, earning points to become the 2024 champions. Students enthusiastically participated in a range of events including breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly, freestyle events and relays.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, students from every year level showcased their skills in water volleyball and a competitive basketball tournament. Music students entertained the crowd with melodies that resonated through the air, meanwhile, the tantalizing aroma of a barbecue wafted through the air, courtesy of our hardworking leadership students who took charge of the grill. To beat the heat, the water park was a hub of excitement, offering a refreshing escape for students. Laughter and splashes echoed as students enjoyed the cooling waters.
The day finished with the house captains relay on giant inflatable animals. The water was alive with the vibrant colors as Brawn, Baird, Lawson and Greenfield as the captains competed fiercely earning crucial points in their quest for glory.
