Vape Detectors and Cameras

Clayfield College is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students. Over the Summer break, 25 vape sensors were installed across the school.  In addition, we have installed 74 security cameras. When the vape sensors are triggered the corresponding security cameras will automatically record movements in that area.  An alert will be sent to the Student Wellbeing Team so that they are able to access the footage and liaise with the relevant students to conduct discussions.

Please see the below procedures and consequences from the Illicit Drug and Vaping Policy.
