Clean up Australia Day - at Hillsmeade PS

On Friday the 1st of March Hillsmeade students were involved in Clean Up Australia Day, for schools. We loved getting out in the school yard and making sure none of our rubbish would end up in the oceans, waterways or drains.

Remember, Clean Up Australia day may only be once a year but you can clean up any day of the year!

Soft Plastics Recycling

Red Group who previously collected at Coles and Woolworths are still not operating, but there is a semi solution.

Outlook Transfer Station in Hampton Park is now collecting soft plastic – currently free of charge. It must be clean.

Where? You will find the bins near the front door of the Outlook Shop. When you drive into the site, off Hallam Road, turn right before the first shed/building on your right, drive around it to the other side to the shop door – bins should be right there.
