Celebrate Cultural Diversity Through Art
Carlingford West Public School is excited to invite all students to participate in the annual Calendar for Cultural Diversity Art Competition!
This wonderful initiative celebrates intercultural understanding, cultural and linguistic diversity, and community harmony across NSW public schools.
Each year, the Calendar for Cultural Diversity showcases the remarkable creative talents of public school students from across the state.
The 2027 calendar theme is "Our Community, Many Stories", encouraging students to explore and express the rich tapestry of cultures and stories that make up our community.
In addition to reflecting this theme, entries can also incorporate the lunar year element featured in the calendar. For 2027, this is the Lunar Year of the Goat / Koala, symbolising unique connections between cultural traditions and Australian identity.

Students are welcome to create their artworks individually or collaborate in groups. The competition is open to all stages, with one winning entry selected from each of the following stages:
Stage 3
