  Relieving Principal's Message

This newsletter marks the midpoint of Term 3. Term 3 is always an engaging and productive term. This week our students have been involved in Science Week activities, author visits, representative sport, drama practice, Student Parliament, and final Tournament of Mind Training. 

 

Congratulations to our students who performed last week at the Performing Arts Showcase in Chatswood. Thank you to our staff who accompanied the students last Thursday evening; Ms O’Malley, Ms Westwood, Mr Barrett and Ms Phillips. 

 

We have had an exciting week with our State Sports Knockout Sports Competition. Our Boys Basketball team is through to the quarter final semi round in early September. Our Boys Cricket team has another game in a few weeks. 

 

Our Athletics Team is competing at the Zone Carnival next week. We wish all of our students competing all the best in their final competition preparation. 

 

Next week families are invited to our K-2 Book Week Parades

 

Please join us on Friday 28th August, in the School Hall at the following times. 

 

Kindy Parade - 9.30 am

Year 1 Parade - 10.00 am

Year 2 Parade - 10.30 am

 

Years 3 to 6 are invited to dress up and parades will be held throughout the day for the students.

 

A reminder that if you have a child starting Kindergarten next year, now is the time to get your enrolment in.  Parents wishing to enrol their child for Kindergarten 2027 should email our school office at carlingfow-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au and attention the email to Mrs Adams, our Enrolment Officer.  

 

We begin formal orientation next term for our students and new families.

 

As always we are proud of all the learning that occurs at our school. We thank you for your ongoing partnership and look forward to the second half of our term.
