Centenary ‘Back to NHS’ Event
Join us on Saturday 16 May as we celebrate 100 years of Northcote High School and welcome our community back on campus.
Northcote High School warmly invites students, families, alumni, and the wider community to attend our ‘Back to NHS’ Centenary event on Saturday 16 May 2026, from 10:00am to 2:30pm at Northcote High School.
Following on from our Centenary Assembly, this special event is the next in our Centenary celebrations and provides a wonderful opportunity for past and present members of our school community to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate 100 years of Northcote High School.
The day will begin with a formal welcome and launch in the school Library, including guest speakers such as Federal MP Ged Kearney, and a short presentation highlighting the rich history of our school. Following this, visitors will be invited to explore the school and enjoy a range of activities and experiences throughout the day.
These will include guided school tours, live music and performances, and a curated museum display in Olver Hall, featuring historical artefacts, photographs, past editions of Ripples, and a showcase of school uniforms through the decades. A visual presentation of archival material will also be running throughout the day.
Food and refreshments will be available, providing opportunities to relax, connect, and share memories with members of the NHS community across generations. Our Student Leaders will also be running a bake sale, and our Friends of Northcote group will be hosting a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the school.
Accessibility: Drop-off for visitors is available via the circular driveway at the front of the school.
We encourage families to share this invitation with alumni and others connected to the school, and we look forward to welcoming our community back to NHS for this memorable occasion.
