The Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus is home to the recently completed Geelong Future Economy Precinct - the epicentre of world-leading research and innovation, and developed to attract and host global leaders working in the areas of advanced manufacturing, materials, energy, sustainability, technology, health, and high-value agricultural initiatives with strong research links.

A 320-bed accommodation precinct offers students a contemporary, affordable, high-quality living experience. Over 1000 students call Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus home.
Career Conversations
Research has found that parents are the single greatest influence on a young person’s education and career decisions. It also suggests that parental involvement improves student motivation, retention, achievement and career outcomes.
Here’s some ideas to get the conversation started…
Parent
- If you were not doing what you are doing now, what would you like to do?
- What is the best job decision you have ever made and WHY?
What was the biggest career mistake you made and what did you learn
Student
- You have 1 million dollars; you must spend it on the first 5 years after school. How do you spend it?
If you could do any job, regardless of pay, location, task etc. What would it be?
