iCAN Challenge

50kms - Wed 27 March 2024

Preparations are now in full swing for the iCan Challenge 2024 which promises to be bigger and better than our first iCan Challenge back in 2022.

This year, we are walking approximately 50km, from St Kilda to the Frankston foreshore, with all money raised being donated to the Good Friday Appeal. Last time, we raised over $26,000 – this year we are hoping to double that!

If you are a parent wanting to join us on the walk, or would like to sponsor or donate, we’d love to hear from you!! Business donations are welcome, too!

Training Walks

Training walks are very important to ensure that everyone is well prepared for the big day.  They will be held as follows throughout Term 1.

Every Thursday: From 3.15pm to 5.15pm, leaving from the front office

Sat 24 February, 16 km (to Jells Park and return): Walk from the school, heading south down Templeton Rd and along Burwood Hwy to access the Blind Creek Trail, then linking onto the Dandenong Creek Trail that follows through to Jells Park.

Sun 17 March, 25 km (to Ringwood Lake Park and return): Walk from the school, heading north-east along Harold St to access the Eastlink Trail and then head north to Ringwood. We will then join the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail and head east until we have walked 10km, doubling back to have mid-morning break at Ringwood Lake Park (toilets, water refill). We will return via the same route, back to school.

Please contact me for further information, or to register your interest in walking and/or donating/sponsoring.
