Junior School News

Welcome to OLGC 2024!! We are so excited to be the Junior Years Teaching Team for 2024. This year we have three composite Year 1 and 2 classes: 1/2 R with Miss Isabella Rachele, 1/2 D with Miss Joyce Dunne and 1/2 MM with Mr Gianni Montalto (Wednesday-Friday) and Mrs Julie McIntyre (Monday- Tuesday). Teaching Prep this year is Miss Belinda Jackson. We welcome her to our school community this year and to our team.

We are all looking forward to getting to know you and your child and provide a fun and engaging learning experience. 

This week we have enjoyed getting to know each other and value the concept of teamwork. It was a delight to see the students working together playing and teaching each other new games, building new creations with some new and different materials, as well as ensure all our friends are included and valued. 

Welcome to our New Prep Families

Our Prep students have had a busy first few weeks of primary school. They have settled into their new routines and met lots of new friends. 

Don't forget that there is no school for our prep students on Wednesdays whilst testing is still occurring. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need to be reminded of when your testing is scheduled for.

If you would like to meet with us, please email to arrange a time.  Please keep in mind that we are in the classroom with students between the hours of 8:45 am and 3:30 pm, and are unable to read emails during this time. We will endeavour to get back to you promptly. Teachers are committed to staff meetings on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
