This week was the 5/6 final SAKG class. On the menu we had some of our most favourite dishes. They were, carrot, cumin and herb fritters with yoghurt dipping sauce, yellow chicken curry and apple crumble (We even got to have ice-cream!).

It was delicious! Thanks, Mrs Curnow for the home gown apples!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Cody's Mum Kate, and Lilymae's Mum, Bree for assisting in kitchen classes. Thank you for giving up your time so we can create some amazing meals.

Next semester the Year 3 and 4's will have SAKG. If there are any parents, grandparents or special friends that would like to help us in kitchen or garden classes, feel free to contact the school. There is no weekly commitment. The students love having volunteers come and join us!

Last week we made a selection of food for the morning tea after the school tour on Friday. We made roast pumpkin, chickpea and sage sausage rolls; silverbeet, leek and feta slice and banana bread. All of the recipes are shared below. Let us know if you try them at home!
