Year 6 Winter Interschool Sports

This term, our Year 6 students have had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Wellington District Winter Interschool Sports Competition. Students were able to choose a sport that suited their interests and strengths, with options including football, soccer, netball, and softball.

Competing against seven other schools in our district, our students have proudly represented Good Shepherd across two days of competition, demonstrating great sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination. The season will conclude with the grand finals on Friday, June 20th, and we look forward to cheering on our teams.

Students have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far, building friendships, developing their skills, and embracing the challenge of interschool sport. We’re proud of their efforts and the way they have upheld our school values while competing.
