ICAS

Good Shepherd will continue to provide the opportunity for students to participate in International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) as part of our academic enrichment activities. ICAS Assessments are designed to recognise academic excellence. Students who participate are assessed on their ability to apply classroom learning to new contexts using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills. 

We will be facilitating the English and Mathematics Assessments for any students in Years 2 to 6 that would like to participate.  This is an optional extracurricular activity for students to participate in. 

Each assessment costs $20.95 (incl. GST). These assessments will take place between the assessment sitting windows (English 11 - 15 August and Mathematics 25 - 29 August).

Registration closes on Monday 14 July. At the beginning of Term 2 we will send out further information.
