Hello from 3G

What a fantastic and busy start to Term 2 we’ve had! The students in 3G have been having a wonderful time learning lots of new skills along the way.

In Writing, we’ve been exploring the art of persuasion. The class mastered the clever OREO technique (Opinion, Reason, Evidence, Opinion) to make their arguments even stronger. They impressed us so much with their persuasive skills, they even convinced their teacher to reward them with real OREO cookies—what a delicious incentive!

This term in Maths, we’ve been focusing on fractions. By investigating shapes and how they fit together, the students discovered how fractions are all around us in everyday life—and how useful they can be.

It’s a privilege to teach such a curious and enthusiastic group in 3G, and I’m excited to see all their growth and achievements next semester!
