Belmore School Therapy Team enjoyed dressing up as the animals from Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell for Book Week this week.
We also wanted to celebrate our two experienced Speech Pathologists for Speech Pathology Week:
Emily Elston- Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Emily has been a Speech Pathologist for over 10 years in a range of environments including specialist and special school, community health and private practice. Emily has a strong passion for working collaboratively with students, their families and the wider multidisciplinary team to support them to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Emily has a particular passion for supporting students to find the right alternative and augmentative communication system to support them to have their voice heard. She enjoys finding creative ways to make to engage students by using their special interests and sensory preferences.

Lydia Pervez: Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Lydia graduated as a Speech Pathologist in 2015. She has gained experience supporting children’s communication and mealtimes across various specialist school, home, and community settings. Lydia is enthusiastic about establishing meaningful connections for children to support their wellbeing and build relationships with people around them. She is also committed to adapting the curriculum to optimise student’s access and engagement with learning.
