Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
On Saturday, August 16, two of our students were baptized. The ceremony was a truly special event, filled with joy and heartfelt moments.
Baptism is a significant step in a person’s faith journey, and it was inspiring to see both girls embrace this commitment. We are so proud of them and wish them all the best as they continue to grow in their faith.
We extend our warmest congratulations to both girls and their families on this joyous occasion.
Have you ever wondered how to deepen your faith and feel closer to God? For centuries, people have turned to the Rosary, a powerful and cherished prayer that offers a beautiful way to meditate on the life of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother, Mary.
It's more than just a set of beads; it's a journey through the key moments of the Gospel, known as the Mysteries. By praying the Rosary, you are invited to reflect on these pivotal events.
Stage 2 students have been exploring the Rosary in their religion lessons. They’ve discovered its history and meaning, and this past Monday, their learning became a hands-on experience. The students had the chance to create their very own rosary beads, a tangible reminder of this beautiful prayer and a personal tool to help them reflect on their faith.
This term we focus on helping students from our Parish Priest, Father Kingsley’s home in Africa. Father Kingsley grew up in Owerri, a city in Nigeria. Each year when father returns home to visit his family he tries to bring something practical to help the poor. So we are asking that our students bring stationery items suitable for a primary school student in Nigeria eg coloured pencils, textas, crayons, small notebooks, rubbers, sharpeners or colouring books. Each class will have a container that they can add to any time during this term. Thank you in advance because I know our community will be very generous.
