Bunnings BBQ & Bake Sale – Volunteers and Donations Needed!
We are delighted to share that our school has been given the wonderful opportunity to host a Bunnings BBQ & Bake Sale on Saturday 20th September! This is a fantastic fundraising event for our school, and we would love your support.
Volunteers
The PTFA is seeking volunteers to assist on the day in 2-hour shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
If you can help, please click this link to access QuickCliq.
Once there, select: Volunteering → I would like to volunteer and choose your preferred time slot. If you are using a phone, click on the three bars in the top left corner to find “Volunteering”.
Requirements:
- All volunteers must wear enclosed shoes.
Aprons will be provided.
Age Guidelines (Bunnings Policy):
- No persons aged 12 or under can assist at the BBQ or Bake Sale.
- Those aged 13 – 17 may handle money, take orders, and serve food, but cannot cook or operate equipment.
- We would love two Senior School students (in full uniform) per shift. If your child would like to help, please email: ptfa@kings.vic.edu.au
Donations – Bake Sale
If you can’t volunteer but would still like to contribute, we welcome donations of baked goods for our Bake Sale.
Please let us know what you plan to make/donate by completing this Google form.
Bake Sale Guidelines:
- Items must be packaged and labelled with a full list of ingredients.
- Deliver to Reception by 4:00pm Friday 19th September.
- No products containing fresh cream, uncooked eggs, or items requiring refrigeration can be accepted.
Boxes/containers and ingredient labels are available from Reception.
Donations – BBQ
If you’d prefer to donate BBQ items, please complete this Google form and indicate what you will provide. All BBQ donations to be dropped at Reception by 4:00pm Thursday 18th September.
