AUSSIE OF THE MONTH

Congratulations, Ben! We’re proud to announce that Ben R (3O) has been awarded Aussie of the Month! Ben is a kind and caring student who consistently demonstrates our school values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, and Kindness. His persistence, positive attitude, and dedication to learning make him a fantastic role model for others.

BOOK WEEK @ POPS

Aug 11- 15

We’re excited to celebrate Book Week at POPS with a range of fun and engaging activities for our students and families!

Scholastic Book Fair: After school on Monday 11th August in the GEM Centre (Library). Support our school and inspire a love of reading by purchasing a book (or two!) from the fair.

Dress Up Day & Parade: Friday 15th August at 9:15am in the Gym. Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. Come along and enjoy the colour and creativity of our Book Parade as we celebrate stories and imagination!

CBCA Book of the Year Awards: The shortlisted books for this year’s Older Readers, Younger Readers, Early Childhood, Picture Book of the Year, Eve Pownall Award, and New Illustrator categories are now available to explore.

Winners will be announced on Friday 15 August during a special celebration at the National Library of Australia in Canberra.

Congratulations to our Senior Teeball team on their incredible win at the Maroondah Division Final! They now move on to compete in the Regional Finals on August 20. Good luck!
