Late drop off - If your child is arriving late to school, it is mandatory for you, as the parent to come into the office with your child to provide an explanation. If your child arrives late and is not accompanied by an adult, you will receive a notification via School Bytes to explain the late arrival.
Absences - Please ensure you are explaining student absences via School Bytes. You will receive a notification on the day of the absence to remind you.
Respect - We have been experiencing some disrespect across the school. This involves students walking away from teachers while being spoken to, students ignoring requests from teachers to come and speak with them, students disrupting the learning of other students, students refusing to complete class work, using mean words and swearing. Please remind your child/children that respect across our school is an expectation. Thank you for your support.
Have a lovely rest of Term 3 and I will see everyone back at the beginning of Term 4.
School Community Charter - Please read the attached document outlining the School Community Charter.
At Eglinton we strive to ensure that all teachers, students, parents and community members treat each other with dignity and respect. This is inclusive of drop off and pick up times. The school is committed to building a positive school culture where student, staff and parent wellbeing is a priority. I appreciate your support.
