Swimming Carnival: Wednesday 30 April. Students to make their own way to Woree Pool

LAST Swimming Carnival on Wednesday - all students must come along and support their House and their Captains!
Please Note:
- The College Tuck Shop will deliver pre-ordered lunches to the Woree Pool for Students and Staff; orders must be placed at the Tuck Shop by Tuesday. The Woree Pool Canteen will also be open on Wednesday for students to purchase lunch and snacks if desired.
- Students must make their own way to the pool for an 8:30 am start and will be dismissed from the pool at 3:15 pm.
- Students should be dressed in their HOUSE uniform, accompanied by any items that match their House dress-up theme.
- Students should also wear appropriate swimming attire in the pool.
Reports
Reports were sent out over the holidays. It is essential that you have reviewed them and discussed the results with your child.
Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations
This Thursday, we have Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations. I encourage parents and students to book times, to discuss report cards.
Careers News
There is a JCU NOW online session on Tuesday; UQ is holding an information night in Cairns on Wednesday; Heroes in Health program - applications close this Wednesday. Anyone interested in learning more about these events can email me.
Girl Power
Ergon Energy is holding an information session for any girls interested in applying to be an apprentice with Ergon in 2026. It is on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Please see Miss Earl for more information.

Term 2 School Fees and Levies
The school fees and levies for Term 2 will be emailed to all account holders in Week 3, from Wednesday, 7 May.
Full payment is due by Wednesday, 21 May. If you are unable to pay in full by the due date, please contact the Accounts Team to arrange an approved payment plan with the College.
Parent - Student - Teacher Conversations
Parent-Student-Teacher conversations will take place on Thursday, 1 May, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Hugh O'Brien Centre. For further information, please refer to the College Broadcast sent on Friday, 4 April 2025.
