Term 1 Reports

Term 1 reports were released over the holidays. If you haven't already, please take some time to review and discuss these results with your child.

Parent - Student - Teacher Conversations

Parent-Student-Teacher Conversations will take place this Thursday. We encourage you to connect with your child’s teachers and book appointments if there are any areas you would like to follow up on. Further details provided below.

Work Experience And Employer Interview

Thank you to all the students and families for supporting this great opportunity for our students to experience the world of work. We received great reports from our teachers who visited workplaces and from the students themselves. We have also had a number of students who were offered further work experience from their placements.
Please encourage your child to locate their employer interview; this is an important part of our SEL program for our Year 10 Cohort and will be required in Week 4 of the term.

Swimming Carnival: Wednesday 30 April. Students to make their own way to Woree Pool

Next Wednesday, 30 April, all students are to meet at the Woree Pool for our annual Swimming Carnival. In addition to the traditional competitive swimming events, all students are encouraged to participate in the novelty events to help their House earn valuable points in the race for Swimming Carnival House victory!

Please Note:

The College Tuck Shop will deliver pre-ordered lunches to the Woree Pool for Students and Staff; orders must be placed at the Tuck Shop by Tuesday. The Woree Pool Canteen will also be open on Wednesday for students to purchase lunch and snacks if desired.
Students must make their own way to the pool for an 8:30 am start and will be dismissed from the pool at 3:15 pm.
Students should be dressed in their HOUSE uniform, accompanied by any items that match their House dress-up theme.
Students should also wear appropriate swimming attire in the pool.

Term 2 School Fees and Levies

The school fees and levies for Term 2 will be emailed to all account holders in Week 3, from Wednesday, 7 May.

Full payment is due by Wednesday, 21 May. If you are unable to pay in full by the due date, please contact the Accounts Team to arrange an approved payment plan with the College.

Mother's Day Assembly

Please join us in celebrating mothers, grandmothers, and other special women in our students' lives at our Mother's Day Assembly, followed by morning tea at Green Leaf Café.

CSPQ-Diocese of Cairns Parent Engagement Mini Conference

Saturday, 31 May 2025, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm, St Augustine's College

All Catholic school parents, carers, principals, and staff are warmly invited to a free event focused on supporting student learning and well-being. Enjoy complimentary morning tea and lunch while gaining valuable insights. You're welcome to attend the entire day or join the sessions that best suit your schedule. The event is open to families with children from Prep to Year 12.
