Welcome back to Term 2!
We hope all of our families had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break. It has been wonderful to see our students return refreshed, enthusiastic, and ready to learn. They’ve made a strong start to the Term, settling quickly into routines and showing a great attitude toward their learning. As always, we’re proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see the growth and achievements that Term 2 will bring.
We’ll continue focusing on building both academic progress and positive learning behaviours, and it’s already clear that many students are stepping up to take on new challenges with confidence and curiosity.
The Mother's Day Stall for the students to purchase gifts will be Wednesday 7th May:
A quick reminder that our Mother’s Day High Tea will be held on Friday, 9th May 2025 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. This special event is a chance for us to celebrate and thank the wonderful women and special people in our students’ lives. We warmly invite all mothers, grandmothers, carers, and other significant figures to join us for an afternoon of tea, scones and student-led activities in our classrooms. More details will be shared soon, but please save the date—we’d love to see you there!

This was an occasion shared with students, staff and our Schoo Captain's special visitors. Congratulations to all!
Fire Services educate students on Safety and Prevention
On Wednesday, local fire services conducted an engaging and educational session for our senior school students aiming to raise awareness about fire safety and the importance of fire prevention. The session, which took place at the Senior Campus was designed to teach students essential life-saving skills, safety measures, and how to respond in the event of a fire.
The education session included:
Fire Prevention Tips: The students learned how to identify potential fire hazards at home and school, such as faulty wiring, unattended candles, and improper use of electrical appliances. Firefighters emphasised the importance of regular smoke detector maintenance and the need to have fire escape plans in place.
Firefighter Gear and Equipment: The fire services team also brought in real firefighting gear, allowing students to see up close the protective equipment firefighters wear when responding to emergencies. The students were amazed by the size and weight of the gear, which gave them a better appreciation for the work firefighters do every day.
The students asked some thoughtful questions and really enjoyed the session.
