Important Dates to Remember:

  • House Colours Assembly – Monday, 5 May

    Students are encouraged to wear their House Colours to assembly as we unveil our exciting new House chants!

  • Mother’s Day Stall – Tuesday, 6 May

    The Mother’s Day Stall will be held in the library. Year 4 students can bring some money (maximum $20) and a bag to purchase a gift for mum or someone special.

  • Year 4 Camp – Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 May

    Location: Oasis Christian Camp, Mt Evelyn Students are to arrive at school by 9:00 am on Wednesday. A full packing list is provided below.

    Important: Non-urgent medication must be handed in to Mrs Jacci Strachan or Mr James Sadler in the First Aid Room on Tuesday, 6 May, between 8:15–8:55 am. All medication must be clearly labelled with your child’s name and dosage instructions.

  • Indigenous Incursion – Friday, 16 May

    We look forward to welcoming Scott Darlow, who will be sharing his knowledge and insights with our students.


 Year 4 Camp: What to Pack

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled. Here’s the equipment list to help your child prepare:

  • 1 sleeping bag, pillow + pillowcase
  • 2 pairs of walking shoes
  • Pyjamas and a dressing gown or tracksuit
  • Waterproof raincoat or parka
  • Underwear (5 pairs), socks (at least 5 pairs)
  • 5 t-shirts (no singlets or sleeveless tops)
  • 3 pairs of pants (jeans/tracksuits)
  • Shorts (weather permitting)
  • 2 jumpers/windcheaters
  • Sunsmart hat (wide brim or legionnaire)
  • 3 handkerchiefs or tissues
  • 2 large plastic bags for dirty laundry
  • Quiet activities (e.g. books, cards) 
  • Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
  • 2 towels
  • Water bottle
  • Small backpack
  • Sunscreen
  • Torch
  • Camera (optional – no phones)
  • Morning tea and lunch for Wednesday in a separate, named bag stored in the small backpack for the bus ride.

Return Time: Students are expected to return to school by 2:45 pm on Friday, 9 May. Updates will be sent via Compass. Students may be picked up early from Vermont Oval Reserve at 2:45 pm. Please notify your child’s teacher before leaving so they can be marked off the roll.
