Young Leaders Breakfast

On the 7th of May, our School captains and Vice captains attended the Young Leaders Breakfast with Mr Callaghan. They got to meet with leaders from other schools, and hear from a guest speaker, Justine Martin, who shared her inspirational story of resilience.

Our four leaders returned from the event inspired and equipped with fresh perspectives on leadership and perseverance. We are incredibly proud of their representation and look forward to seeing the positive impact of their experiences on our school community.

Here is what they had to say about the Young Leaders Breakfast:

Isla C – “I thought it was really good because we got to talk to other schools.”

Noah S – “The guest speaker was really inspirational because of all of the things she has overcome in her life.”

Eliza W – “Justine Martin told us her story and even though she has been through a lot, she inspired us all to have resilience and just keep going.”

Jordan H – “Hearing about Justine’s story was really interesting, and it was also good to meet lots of other leaders.”

Junior School Council Update

We are very excited to be heading to Moriac Kindergarten on the 5th of June for some work in the community! The students will get to plan their own activities and be the 'teachers' for the afternoon. We will be busy organising this over the next couple of weeks and I'm excited to see our JSC leaders run some engaging and fun activities!

Also... the team has decided that 'JSC Market Day' will be running again late in Term 2. Stay tuned for further details in the next newsletter. The students are currently deciding what we will be raising money for.
