Writing

KM have been working really hard in writing.  Students have learnt and written about some of their favourite Australian animals like kangaroos, koalas, echidnas and much more!  They have been using their learning to write informative sentences about the animals' appearance, diet, habitat and young.

 Maths

In the classroom students have been engaging in hands on experiences while investigating volume.  They have been learning to look at the volume of different containers by transferring water and blocks to investigate what is happening.  Students have been talking about what they notice and the amount of cups used to fill the containers.  They have also learnt to check to see if their estimations were accurate.
