Catholic Identity

Mercy Prayer

We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have  served at St. Mary’s.

It is through their vision,  determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

We are proud to be a Mercy School, where the values of love and justice are taught and lived every day.

NEW NEWS!

Each year, St. Mary’s School supports the St. Vinnie’s Christmas Giving Tree.

To raise funds for gifts, the Grade Six Social Justice Team sold Zooper Doopers each Thursday at 50 cents each. The money collected has been divided amongst the Social Justice Team members, who will shop for gifts to go under our Giving Tree.

We raised over $350 for our Giving Tree!

THANK YOU!

Thank you for supporting all of our Catholic Identity activities throughout this year, whether it may have been attending our Assembly prayers, our whole school masses, participating in the sacramental journey of your child or taking your child to mass so they could be an altar server!

We truly have “let our light shine” throughout this year, being close followers of Jesus.

Over these last few weeks of school, I am unable to attend some of the significant           end-of-year events due to medical appointments in Melbourne, so thank you for all of your support in the faith journey of your child!

St. Mary’s certainly is a very special place to learn!

Thanking you,

Michelle Hicks
