The Push FReeZA workshop
Mildura Rural City Council’s Youth Engagement Services team has arranged for The Push FReeZA to deliver two workshops on Monday 15 January 2024.
The first workshop for the day is Music Industry Careers from 10am to 12noon.
Topics include:
- The network of the contemporary music industry and the range of career roles and
- job opportunities
- The different ways to enter and maintain a career in the music industry.
- How to network and pitch yourself within the music industry
- The importance of resilience and maintaining good relationships
RECORDING + RELEASING Workshop from 1pm-3pm
Topics include:
- What to expect and how to prepare when going into a recording studio
- How to build your audience and team
- Building a release plan
- Creating a press kit
- Distributing your music
- Coordinating a series of live shows
Keep your eye out as this will be advertised on MRCC Youth Engagement Services Facebook, Instagram and Eventbrite as part of our January school holiday program.
