BEYOND BLUE WELLNESS RUN RECAP

What a day! The sun was shining and excitement levels were high. 

A huge congratulations to everyone who ran in the SMPPS team on the weekend at the Beyond Blue Wellness Run. We had 80 staff, parents, kids and members of the wider community run across all events including the Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and 1km run. 

The kids absolutely blew me away with their amazing efforts competing in the 1km, 5km and 10km runs. So many of them challenged themselves with a distance that was outside their comfort zone and it was great to see them so happy after finishing and collecting their medals. 

A huge thankyou to everyone who took part this year! We will be entering the 2024 event as a school so stay tuned to next year's newsletters for details.
