Learning and Teaching

🌟 Juniors Jump into Digital Technology! 🌟
Our Junior students have started the year with a bang in Digital Technology! To begin we learned about the expectations on how we use our technology to ensure that we are doing so in a safe manner. We then put this into action by using the school iPads and describing one event on the holidays through emoji’s!
The students have also been learning what a digital system is and discovered that anything powered by electricity or batteries counts as a digital system.
After brainstorming lots of different types of technology, students created pictures of the devices they use in their everyday lives. We then shared our ideas and explored the purpose of each device—deciding whether it is used to entertain, help, or comfort us.
We’re looking forward to another fun, creative, and curious year in Digital Technology with our Juniors!
Grade 3 Chromebook Update!
Our Grade 3 students have begun receiving their school Chromebooks, and as you can see, they’re very excited!
If you haven’t yet made payment for your child’s device, please visit the office. Once payment has been received, the Chromebook will be distributed as soon as possible.
