NFORMA MEDICAL INFORMATION
Please check that all medical information on nForma is up to date and reflects current medical needs of your child. This includes emergency contacts and Doctor name and details.
For those students with Asthma or Anaphylaxis plans please ensure that these are uploaded so that we have the most current plan with instructions. Students with Asthma should have a ventolin/spacer in their bag at all times and one in the First Aid room as well. Epipens are stored in the First Aid room. With thanks
TALKING ABOUT SCHOOL
As parents, we often get excited to pick up our children and hear about their day.
Some children may give you very little information if you ask, “How was school?” Here are some questions that may prompt some conversations. Often, children don’t want to talk about school straight away as they are tired from new routines, social interactions and may feel overloaded cognitively. Good conversations often happen later when students are relaxed and have had time to process their day.
Student Engagement - CHILD SAFETY
The Victorian Child Safety Standards are in place to protect children and young people from harm and abuse.
Organisations such as schools are required to comply with the Standards and need to implement all aspects of the 11 Standards. This is evident in our policies and procedures. We regularly discuss these in staff meetings as part of our professional learning.
