Open Night 2026

Year 7 & 9 NAPLAN

Wednesday 11 March - Monday 23 March 

NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy) is coming up soon. This annual test is for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9. It checks important skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and maths.

 

Most students will complete the tests online, except Year 3 writing, which will be done on paper.

 

NAPLAN helps schools and education authorities see how students are doing with essential literacy and numeracy skills.

 

Please encourage your child to do their best during the tests. 


School Photo Day 

Friday 13 March

Photo Day is coming soon! 

All students must attend school dressed in full formal school uniform. If you need to purchase a uniform, please visit the school office, our staff will be happy to help you.

 

Information and order forms for school photos have been given to all students this week. These forms explain the available photo packages and how to place an order. Please keep an eye out for these forms and return them on the day if you want to order prints.

 

If you have any questions or need help preparing for Photo Day, don’t hesitate to contact the school office.


Parent Teacher Interviews 

Tuesday 24 March, 4pm-7:30pm 

Parent teacher interviews are an opportunity for parents and carers to connect with teachers and discuss student progress, achievements and areas for growth. 

 

Bookings can be made via Sentral Parent Portal

 

Please keep an eye out for more information on how to secure your timeslots closer to the date. 


Year 7 & 8 Camp 

Wednesday 25 March - Friday 27 March 

Year 7 and 8 Camp will be held in Week 9 of this term for all Year 7 and 8 students. 

This camp promises to be an exciting opportunity for learning and team building.

 

Further details and information will be sent out to parents closer to the dates.

Did you know 1 in 6 Australians experience hearing loss? World Hearing Day raises awareness about preventing deafness and promoting ear health.

This year’s theme: “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children.”

  • 90 million children worldwide have hearing loss.
  • Over 60% of childhood hearing loss is preventable. 
  • Early hearing checks and support help children thrive.
