Year 2

This term in Science, we have kicked off our chemistry unit, "Mix it Up." We have had the chance to explore mixing various ingredients. So far, we have enjoyed making delicious chocolate crackles and even got to taste them – yum! We have also been amazed by Oobleck and how it behaves like both a solid or a liquid depending on how you handle it. Our ‘Crazy Chemicals’ incursion was a highlight for everyone!

In Numeracy, we have been exploring volume, capacity, length, and area through a variety of hands-on measuring activities.

In Literacy, we've started examining different text types and have particularly enjoyed looking at comics. Creating our own comic strips has been a favourite activity.
