Hello parents and carers and welcome once again to 3E!

The end of last term was busy finalising assessments and our very important community project. The children applied themselves incredibly well to their inquiry subject and had a blast while learning lots along the way! Some of the descriptions of the students’ chosen facilities were first class. The students created histories, awards in which their facility competed in, explained who had influenced their facility and why, plus much more. The whole project was made all the more engaging when it was revealed we would create our community using Minecraft!

After the winter holidays, the students have settled in exceptionally well! You can hear a pin drop in the morning during sustained reading! We have revisited persuasive writing once again. The students were incredibly passionate with their opinions about whether or not students should have to wear a school uniform, so much so, that Mr Moorhouse may need to reconsider the school policy after he reads these latest Cold Writes.
