Congratulations to the following students who participated - we are so proud that you chose to extend and challenge yourselves....

A very special thank you to Barb (our wonderful Library Admin person) and Christine (wonderful parent volunteer) for spending a lot of time contacting books for our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students. We really appreciate you giving up your time to do this for us. Our students can now begin to use these novels as part of their Literacy Learning and Literature Study.
At Trinity we provide information and support for families with the process of secondary school enrolments for Year 6 students moving into Year 7. This is an ongoing process throughout the year. For those families of students in Year 6 who still need support with secondary school options and completing enrolments for 2025, please come and see me asap, and I would only be too happy to have a conversation or help however I can.
In choosing a secondary school for your child, we strongly advise that you attend the school tours, ask lots of questions and talk about your child's interests and needs.
We are very privileged to have such great relationships with the Catholic Secondary and Catholic Independent schools close to Trinity. In regards to bursaries or scholarships offered by some of these schools, this is determined by the secondary school itself and depends on the criteria set by the school. This is not something that is determined by Trinity or decided by staff at Trinity. Whilst we make every attempt to be transparent about the scholarship process, it is also quite a confidential process. We also offer support to individual families who need help with enrolment, bursary or scholarship applications. If you have any questions and would like to chat about this process please do not hesitate to come and see me.
At the beginning of each year families will be provided with information as to what secondary schools are available to students and 'expression of interest' forms are handed out in regards to scholarships. It is important to note that what is offered may change from year to year, and across the course of the year.
There will be an information session for our current Year 5 families to attend next term and again at the beginning of 2025. This will include information about secondary schools, the enrolment process, closing dates, scholarships and bursaries. In the meantime, feel free to come and see me if you would like to chat further about this.
Here is the latest 'Speech Box' from 'Speech Pathololgy for Schools'. This is one is all about Orthographic Mapping and Sight Words.
If at any time you would like to chat about the learning at Trinity, or you have any questions or concerns about your child's learning, please do not hesitate to see your child's teacher, or myself.
