Camp Waratah Bay
Our Year 3 and 4 students, spent 2 nights at Waratah Bay Beach Camp this week. For many students, this was their first school camp, and for some their first night away from home. We were really proud of the students and have heard wonderful stories about their resilience and respect. Students enjoyed great activities like the giant swing, a night beach walk, rock climbing, gaga ball, volleyball and beach activities. Thank you to all of the staff who attended this camp and also a BIG thankyou to a very supportive group of parents/ carers who also volunteered to attend including:

Pancake Day
Shortly after the Book Week Parade, a number of staff donned aprons and quickly got cooking over 650 pancakes. This made $974 to go towards our Year 6 Big Day Out. Thank you to everyone for supporting this event.
Book Week
Hooptime
A number of our students are keen basketballers, so we recently held tryouts for our Hooptime Teams. Congratulations to the Year 5 and 6 teams selected below that will compete next Wednesday at Casey Stadium. Our Year 3 and 4 teams will attend Hooptime on Tuesday 3rd of September. We wish them the best of luck!

Thursday 29th August - Father's Day Stall
All students will be offered an opportunity to visit the stall on this day to purchase a gift/s for Father's Day. Unlike other years where we have been able to offer a limited amount of gifts from 50c, unfortunately this time due to price increases, gifts will range between $1.50 - $5.00. This is not a fundraising event, the costing is to cover costs only. Any students absent on this day will have an opportunity to purchase a gift on Friday.
Friday 30th August - Father's Day Celebration Picnic
Please bring a picnic lunch to share with your child/ren. Gates will not be open before 1:30pm.
