STEM/Science

Welcome to term 3! We have been really busy during STEM working on an exciting hands-on project designed to engage students in engineering, problem-solving, and creativity: Designing a One-Move Score Olympic Game! The Challenge: Students are tasked with engineering a basketball game (or any Olympic sport of their choice) where players can achieve a score in a single move. The goal is to blend engineering principles with athletic skill to create a game that’s both fun and challenging.

Garden Update:

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our school garden! Last week, we had the opportunity to prepare our garden and plant a fresh batch of strawberries, thanks to the generous donation from the Frizon family.

We carefully planted the strawberry seedlings provided by the Frizon family. Each plant was positioned to maximize sunlight and space, ensuring they have plenty of room to grow and produce delicious fruit. The students enjoyed getting their hands dirty and took great care in planting each seedling.

A huge thank you to the Frizon family for their generous donation! Your contribution is making a positive impact on our garden and providing our students with a hands-on learning experience. We’re excited to watch these strawberries grow and look forward to tasting the fruits of our labor in the coming months.
