Year 2 News

Our Year 2 class have been buzzing with Olympic excitement! During Sweet Spot and in eating times, we enjoyed watching the many different events, and cheering for our teams! The daily medal charts became rich visual data displays, as students explored them in our math Data Talks, sparking curiosity and conversation. They even shared stories about their favourite countries, many of which connect to their own family backgrounds. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, celebrating the global spirit of the Olympics right here at school.
