What a fantastic Term of learning it has been for the Preps so far! 

The Preps had a wonderful time starting the term celebrating 100 days of Prep. They all looked fantastic in their 100 year old costumes and it was wonderful to look back on all the fun and learning that has happened over the past 100 days. 

As part of our unit of inquiry into How we express ourselves we have been exploring how creativity is expressed. We have found creativity in writing, science, art, maths and so much more! We expressed our own creativity this week by creating magic potions using food coloring and glitter. We then used these potions as inspiration for our creative writing, you can see some of the wonderful work below!

In Literacy we have been working hard on our writing skills and are quickly becoming expert authors. We have learnt about the structure of narratives and quickly began using this in our own writing. In our stories you will always find a hmm, uh oh, phew! 

This term in Maths we have been exploring how we express our ideas. We have explored different ways of representing our thoughts through drawing, graphs and oral language. 

The Preps should be extremely proud of the work they have put into their learning so far this term, great work Preps!
