Superhero Wednesday

During the week we have been engaging students in meaningful discussions and activities aimed at promoting empathy, understanding, and respect for diversity. We encourage parents and carers to take this opportunity to have open and honest conversations with their children about the impact of bullying and what they can do if they need support. You can visit the Bullying No Way website for tips around how to have this discussion.

Here are some of the responses from students across the school when asked the question - What does being a Superhero mean?

Saving people when they are in trouble - Elessa and Ella (prep)

Looking after people when they are hurt - Florence (prep)

It means to be kind - Kai (year 1)

You can be helpful and help people - Margot (year 2)

To stick up for others and be an upstander - (Poppy- Year 4)

Doing the right thing no matter what - Rosie (year 6)

Special powers and you help make the world a better place - Mrs. Driscoll (year 4)

Never give up: Lots of small steps to make a big difference - (Suzie LSO and Hawthorn supporter!)
