Reading Cafe

It wasn't your usual Thursday morning at Albanvale Primary School, as the courtyard transformed into a cafe, bustling with parents and students sharing their love of reading. 

After perusing the Writer's Gallery with coffee in hand, where students displayed some of their finest work, parents wandered through the a fairy light lit corridor to enter the Reading Cafe. Enjoying the sunshine, families shared books (and doughnuts!) in the Anzac Garden with our beautiful Albanvale community. 

The morning culminated in the grand final of our Spelling Bee. The students did so well they almost flummoxed Mr Taylor!  Congratulations to Raiden from 1/2C (Prep to Year 2) and Janet from 3/4D (Year 3- Year 6) on their wins!
