Principal Report

Dear families,

We recently held a celebratory school leaders assembly for grade 5 students moving into grade 6.

In attendance were all our students and staff, as well as the parents and carers of those who had been selected by their peers and staff. We also welcomed local MP Bridgett Valance to share some wise words on leadership.

Before the captains had been chosen, I had the pleasure to listen to the speeches that students shared about why they should be considered. The strength and depth of their reasoning was strong throughout, and it was a tough decision on who should be our new school leaders.

We know that not everyone can have a badge in grade 6, but everyone can step up and show leadership in some way as they move into year 6 and beyond.

I am proud to share the new school captains with the community. I wish each and every one of the best as they move into grade 6.
