'Have a Positive Impact'

Pastoral Care Session, Chronicle Auction & Awards Highlights.

On the 10 December, Year 8 students came together for a special pastoral-care session - a time for reflection, celebration, and connection. As part of this gathering, we held our annual Chronicle Auction and recognised outstanding students with awards for their achievements and contributions.

During this time, we introduced Dylan Harris and Claire Hanley who will be the Year 9 Learning Leader and Year 9 Assistant Principal respectively. Noah Kent and Visal Ean will also be part of the team as Assistant Learning Leaders.

The atmosphere of the session was uplifting, with students and staff celebrating collective effort, kindness, and growth. Congratulations to all recipients and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the auction.

Step-Up: Week 10

Step-Up Classes have happened in Week 10, where Year 8 students transitioned into learning the year 9 curriculum. Students are exposed to year 9 content and skills, with any required holiday homework being communicated during this time. We farewelled the Year 8s on their final day of formal classes on Friday 12 December.

Year 8 teachers and support staff

From the Year 8 team, we want to thank and acknowledge every single member of staff who have supported Year 8 students in 2025. To every classroom teacher, learning support officer, tutor, administration staff, maintenance staff and principal team member who have supported the year 8 cohort – thank you for all the effort you have put in to facilitate the learning journey of this cohort.

Year 8 – Have a positive impact!

Congratulations to the cohort, and we wish you the best of luck in Year 9. We wish you and your families a safe and happy summer break, and hope that you carry this year’s learning journey, 'Have a Positive Impact' – with you throughout the rest of your schooling.
